Basketball Conditioning Drill 1: Suicide

1. Players should spread out along the baseline.

2. On go, players should sprint to freethrow line and back to baseline.

3. Continue to run from baseline to half-court back to baseline.

4. Continue to run from baseline to the freethow on other end of court back to baseline.

5. Continue to run from braseline to oppositie baseline and back.

6. Players can be timed for this drill

Basketball Conditioning Drill 2: Short Sprints on track or football field

1. Start with distances of 50-100 yards at less than top speeds.

2. As conditioning improves, increase speed up to 100%.

3. Begin with 3-5 repetitions with 30-60 seconds of rests between sprints, gradually increase to 10-20 repitions.
